Hi All,
I wanted to understand if there is a way just to implement the Modular theme framework in the existing out of the box sharepoint blog sites? How can we achieve this? Can we use or refer to the some of the parts/modules in EBE which implements the modular theme framework?
Can somebody throw some light on this please?

The EBE is a feature and you can just activate it on your existing blog sites. It adds some additional functionality, but all the existing functionality still works. If at any time you want to remove it, then you can just de-activate it.

Hi Vince,
I tried to use the EBE and when I enable the modular framework unfortunately I dont see my tag-browser and tag-cloud web-part also.
Is it that the master pages used for the MTF dont support having web-parts?

By default none of the themes have a web part manager or any web part zones and so you cannot use web parts on them. However that is the default and there is nothing to stop you adding them to the master page.

The EBE comes wih its own tag cloud which is renered using XSL. At least one of the themes includes a tag cloud.
