World Clock requires page reloads to sync time?

Hi - the world clock webpart would be great if it kept the time updated without requiring a page reload. Otherwise, users are looking at stale times, and may not realize it. I'd like to use it just for the international clocks (not for weather), but I can't use it as-is.

The world clock & weather webpart is pretty helpful. If I were to add real-time to it, would you suggest an Ajax call to another page every second? or what would be the best approach for this webpart?

I haven't looked at the source code, so this may be a silly suggestion, but you might think about comparing to the system clock.  So the world time loads, checks the local computer clock and stores an offset.  Then on a window.settimeout handler, the callback function reads the local clock every second and using the offset, updates the display.

Just a thought, but it wouldn't tie up network resources, and there would be no latency.
