I by accident turn on the feature on one of my publishing site.
The site default.aspx is not accessible any more.. I can't deactivate the feature any more!!!
when I tried to turn off the feature...The error msg is "
 "Failed to deactivate EBE:value does not fall within the expected range".

If I turn the feature off in Central admin, then I can access the site but I need this feature on for other blog site in the same web application
It's in my production server.. please help!!!

You should be able to deactivate the feature using STSADM.

stsadm.exe -o deactivatefeature
           {-filename <relative path to Feature.xml> |
            -name <feature folder> |
            -id <feature Id>}
           [-url <url>]

I tried both the command line and UI. It returned the same error as my first post.

Seems like the template only should be activated in Blog site. That was the reason...

Any suggestions??
