Hi People.
I looked at the http://sharepoint.microsoft.com/sharepoint/cks/uge/default.aspxdemo site and I noticed an issue that I have also discovered whilst attempting to customise a sharepoint site.

In the Quicklaunch if you click a link to one of the libraries directly - ie Presentations, site styling is maintained.
Again in the Quicklaunch, if you click a top level content link eg "Documents" a page called viewlsts.aspx (an all site content page) is displayed with the default sharepoint style and theme, rather than the User Group Edition style.

Any ideas how to fix it?

But apart from that - looks good :-)

You've hit upon one of the most hated restrictions of SharePoint -- the pages in the /_layouts vdir are tied to a separate Master Page called application.master for which any customizations will not be officially supported by Microsoft. That's why we went through the trouble of hiding the "View All Site Contents" link above Quick Launch using a custom CSS tag.

There's a separate workstream going on to come up with a supportable solution for modifying application.master, but don't hold your breath waiting for it. :-) Any significant progress will be announced on the SharePoint Team Blog.
