ok, dumb questions 101. New to all this.
followed the instructions at the bottom of the readme.
changed the url in the install.bat but errors produced for stsadm and gacutil.
after adding the SafeCOntrol entry the Mysites currently setup stopped working. (test enviroment)
again, adding the mysitecreatepart.dll produced an error.
The 2 gacutil errors are the same :"Failure adding assembly to the cache: Unknown Error"

Hi Sewelld
I experienced this when running the install.bat file as well. This is because gacutil and stsadm is not defined in your OS's Path variable and therefore cannot be referenced directly as done in this bat script. To fix this do the following:
Right-Click MyComputer ->Properties->Advanced->System Variables
Here edit the "Path" variable. Add the following at the end of this string (leave what's in there already):
;C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\web server extensions\12\BIN\;C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 8\SDK\v2.0\bin\
Please note that this is the paths to where the stsadm and the gacutil is located on my machine. Doublecheck that this is correct on your machine. Now you should be able to call both stsadm and gacutil from command-prompt regardless your current location in the folder structure. The Install.bat should now work!
